Really stoked! Just finished editing a new episode– one that I hadn’t even planned–Interviewed Jeremy Hammond after I ran into him in front of Klimat, I started talking about the new episode I wanted to do about coming up with new material and how I wanted to interview him. We started throwing around days and times, and then I thought–Let’s do it right now! So we did, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! So free and spontaneous….much better than I could have ever imagined. So that episode came together almost effortlessly and I’m happy with the length of the clip as well!
It’s probably the easiest episode I’ve ever done. Shot it last night on my way to host the Friday 6:30 mic at Klimat Lounge. Cleared off my hard drive last night before bed so I actually had room to process and store the video (after moving everything to my new 3 TB backup drive and making a double backup to another external drive.
It’s my first time using a different encoding format. H.264 — it encodes soooooooo much faster. Hope it looks as good as I want it to look.
A little more technical specification than usual, but good to put it down for posterity.
I love it when episodes come together without me having to do much editing. It’s also fun that when I’m watching the video for the first time (or heck, even shooting it) the cuts are coming together without me having to think about them much. The process is becoming soooooooo much easier–how cool!
